This Valentine’s Day 2012 found me ready to step fully into the third chapter of my life.  This third chapter will be dedicated to creativity and loving-kindness, to finding small ways to help a better world unfold.  I will be writing, researching, taking photos, and talking to people as I explore the Great Lakes ecoregion and other parts of the world.  I’ll be sharing my photos, essays, and conversations here as I travel and learn.
